Le Presbytère de Saint-Maurice

In fact this is a series of gardens, tended with determination and energy by  Pierre-Francois Gorse since 2003. A courtyard invaded by stately echiums on the north side, a large plot behind the presbytery facing south, where some remarkable magnolias thrive, as well as an impressive arboretum gracefully dominated by the church spire, where roses, a profuse vegetable garden, an orchard and an assortment of shrubs live amongst the trees.

• From Barneville go towards  Saint-Maurice en Cotentin (D 42), park in front of the church and walk down the road past it  to the presbytery behind.
