Le Jardin des Eschéris

Le Jardin des Eschéris started in 1992 has a distinctly English feel.  The compelling plant associations, mountains of rhododendrons, the refined composition around the water feature, the classic square in the middle of an English lawn enclosed by hedges, themselves clipped to allow communication from one part of the garden to another emanate classical English style.  You will also find a vegetable garden, an orchard, a long arbour clambered over by Kiwi fruit (Actinidias).and a greenhouse, home to many hothouse treasures, mainly succulents.

• 6 000 m², half of which is garden, half paddocks

• Open 5-6 May, 2-3 June, Saturdays from 14.30 to 18.30, Sundays from 10.30 to 18.30, and also by appointment.

• From Ducey, go towards Les Chéris (D48) on leaving the village, near the source, turn right towards "Village du Hamel", the garden is 50 m after the 3rd bend.
