Le Clos Millet
Saint Pierre-Langers
A steep sided garden full of subtle displays
Facing south, this precipitous garden created on a disused quarry offers a breathtaking view over the surrounding landscape. You need to go down a flight of steps - a labour of love by the gardeners themselves - to access the path through massed flowers which takes you to the water feature, richly planted along its banks. Round the house you will find meticulously orchestrated spaces setting off to advantage the interesting topiary – for example an armchair with cushions of moss. The whole garden brims with originality.

- From the church in la Haye-Pesnel, go through the square going straight on towards Lucerne d’Outremer ; in this village, just before the church turn right towards Saint-Pierre-Langers and continue straight on. Having passed a wood on your right, go straight over a crossroads and take the first small path to the left on a dangerous bend (be careful). The 2nd house on the right has a small gate surrounded by hydrangeas and you have arrived.
