Nurseries

Plants, flowers, vegetables, house plants, shrubs, trees  the greenhouses attached to the Horticultural school of Coutances provides everything.

Greenhouses open all year from Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 12.00 and from 13.30 to 17.30, and Saturday morning from 9.00 to 12.00.
Botanical garden open from 8 May to 15 October at the same times as the greenhouses Dahlia Festival from 14.00 to 18.00 from  8 to 30 September, seven days a week. Unaccompanied visit.
Admission free Except during the Dahlia festival when it is 3.50 €, free for under 10s.
Getting here: Take the D20 (towards Regnéville-sur-Mer) and turn right where signposted to "Lycée nature de Coutances".

Collections: Dahlias, shrubs,  shade - sun - and damp loving perennials , birches, sorbus and Asian plants.
Outstanding plants: Lespedeza thunbergii, Japanese Maples, Sophora japonica,  Koelreuteria paniculata.
